(All courses on Federal or State land , can only be accessed through the Cascade Mountain Rescue & Outdoor Club a nonprofit club with no mandatory registration fee.  gifts and donations excepted.  There is no transfer of funds, to CMR or it's employees, for activities on Federal / Public Properties. One Day Family Ski Trip  

Adults are $150.00 and Children 12 and under are $80,00, plus sale tax.

Why stay in front of that TV when you and your family could be out where the real show is, deep in the Winter

 Wonders of The Southern Washington Cascades and the Trout Lake Wilderness areas.  We will take you and your

 children for a day ski, camp fire and box or field lunch (see our menu and place and order lunch cost not

 included), good stories, great Banjo music and memories that you and your children will cherish for years.  CMR

 will provide you with basic Cross Country lesson and yes bring those babies, we have a Kiddy Sled to haul them

 in warmth and comfort.  Our Guides will share information on the local wildlife an some historical trivia as well. 

 The Guided Ski trip is a great way to move about the Wild places with friends and family and find that inner quiet

 we all miss more than we know.  The CMR Store has all of the equipment you need, both for sale and rent.  Ski

 packages are $25.00 for the a 24 hour day and we do rent Snowshoes as well for $20.00.  To make a reservation

 cost deposit from each climber.  

SKI JORING

Take a ride like you've never had before, behind your own team of Dogs, headed for the wilds of the Southern

Washington  Cascades.  These Dogs love to run and pull and they will obey the commands we teach you to give

them.  A great  way to  access the Mountains in the winter time and a real blast of winter fun.  You must have some

skiing  experience to ski jor.

Adults $150.00, Children 12 and under are $80.00, plus sale tax.

 

GUIDED BACK COUNTRY  SKIING

 

 One Day All Terrain Snow SKI School 

$ 400 Per Person plus sales tax.

This one day course is perfect for the beginner and early intermediate skier.  On your day trip, you will learn all of

the basics of All Terrain Skiing, Ski Mountaineering and how to climb and Ski in the winter Safely.  Your winter

gear can be hauled up the mountains, if you are a customer, for an extra charge

of $50.00. 

 Freight Hauling $ 150 per person

For one non Guided Customer, on the Southern side, freight hauling is $150.00 per

 person one way. Other locations in the mountains will vary in price and will be based

 on fuel and hours.  Group rates are available and the price drops per persons as

 individuals are added to the group.  A group rate for 4 persons  to the wilderness

 boundary on the Southern side would be $100.00 per person.                

 

Two Day All Terrain Snow SKI School 

$ 800 Per Person, plus sales tax.

So you say your ready for more, something that will get you out there in the places not everybody else is going.

Well our two day back country ski is perfect for just that.  You will Ski Jour behind a snow machine from a

selected location. to a pre selected location.  There you will Ski Skin up and climb to the Top of a selected peak to

the CMR base Camp.  Your Guide will conduct some ski classes and there will be a short tour up a selected Ridge

and then alpine down to base camp for dinner, music and great stories.  In the morning there will be breakfast

and a loop tour of a selected Glacier.  Then back to base camp and alpine skiing to the Starting point.  To make a

reservation please call (509) 395-3620.  All reservations must be held with a Non-refundable Non-negotiable 50

percent of cost deposit from each climber. All Shuttle transportation is an extra cost.  The CMR Store has all

terrain backcountry Black Diamond ski packages for rent.

 

SUMMIT GUIDED SKIING

 

 Three Day Summit Ski Trip $1250.00 per person, plus sales tax.

For those who believe in the sacred halls of the mountain gods, the summit of any mountain in the winter time is the

only we to see them face to face.  Most definitely not for the faint of heart this three day summit ski is a lifetime

memory.  This trip is similar to the two day ski in the lower mountain, with a Ski Jour up from a selected starting

point, but once the group arrives at the CMR Base camp, We are done for the day to prepare for the assault on the

summit of a pre selected peak at "O dark thirty" the following morning.  Depending on the condition of the snow

pack and the weather, we may have to crampon up.  After the Summit attempt the group will return to base camp

for dinner, free time and some backwoods entertainment.  Two dinner meals are included, but shuttle service and

WINTER MOUNTAINEERING EQUIPMENT LIST:

*       CMR WILL NOT REGISTER YOUR CLIMB, YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR CLIMB AND JOIN THE CMROC CLUB.   IF YOU CLIMB WITHOUT A GUIDE OR CLUB INSTRUCTOR, YOU WILL NEED TO DO THIS FOR YOUR SELF.  TELL  LOCAL OUTFITTERS,  FAMILY AND  FRIENDS YOUR DETAILED ROUTES, CAMPING LOCATIONS AND ESTIMATED RETURN TIMES.  DID YOU CHECK THE WEATHER FORECAST?!!!  CMR WILL CHECK THE WEATHER PRIOR TO EVERY TRIP.  LEAVE A COPY OF YOUR PLAN IN YOUR CAR WINDOW, NEXT TO YOUR SNOW PARK PERMIT
