 (All courses on Federal or State land , can only be accessed through the Cascade Mountain Rescue & Outdoor Club a nonprofit club with no mandatory registration fee.  gifts and donations excepted.  There is no transfer of funds, to CMR or it's employees, for activities on Federal / Public Properties. Need a ride up the mountain because the snow is too deep?  For $60.00 one way we can drop you and your party off at 6,500 feet.  Prices vary based on the number of riders.

Take a winter tour thru the wild and scenic places around Mt. Adams and Trout Lake, WA.  You and your family (or group) will see the wonders of the Southern Cascades, with potential wildlife sightings of elk, deer and other Pacific Northwest fauna.  Your tour Instructor will interpret the natural and historic high points of the area.  Then, enjoy lunch and warming beverages on the South Eastern Slopes of Mt Adams, where you will have plenty of opportunities to take photos.  Depending on weather conditions, you will also have views of Mt. Hood, Mt. Saint Helens and the Columbia Gorge Valley.

 

Tours run approximately 4 – 6 hours.  There is a group minimum size of 4 individuals and will not exceed 8 people per tour.  The cost is $175/person for tours only.  A discounted price is available for groups of 6 – 8 people wishing to reserve a private Snow Cat tour ($150/person).  If you would also like to engage in backcountry skiing, please read the description below for more information and pricing.

 

 

One Day Backcountry Ski Trip on the South Eastern Slopes of Mt. Adams  (Tribal Lands)

$285 / Person from start of season thru December and for spring skiing in March & afterwards (depending on conditions).

$315 / person for ski trips during peak of the season Jan. &  Feb.

*Includes a delicious lunch, snacks, and beverages throughout the day.  We will also provide you with an experienced Instructor & avalanche safety gear.  There will be an additional fee to rent a ski package if you do not have your own equipment.

 

Basic Itinerary

8:00 AM  Meet at the CMR Mountain Shop in Trout Lake, WA in order to fill out Liability & Club Forms and meet with your Instructors prior to departure.

8:30 AM  Leave for our Base Camp
